By utilizing distinct human in vitro systems, including stem cell-based technology, along with neural differentiation protocols and gene editing, I aim to study neurodevelopmental as well as traumatic and neurodegenerative disorders.

During my tenure at Evangelos Kiskinis lab (Northwestern University, Chicago, IL) I learned the powerful potential of human stem cells technologies and develop novel platforms to study neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders.

POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH SCHOLAR
During my first postdoctoral research training in Zecevic Lab (University of Connecticut, Farmington, CT, USA), I studied the effect of different morphogenes implicated in the human cerebral cortex development.
